Conductive Education Awareness Day

Today is the day!

February 25, 2010: First-ever CE Awareness Day in North America!

Many centers across North America have made efforts to get the word out. From mayoral proclamations to positive, supportive letters from governors, to radio and television interviews. The latest interview that I've seen came out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Wood TV 8, and can be seen by clicking here.

Locally, a newspaper picked up the story and printed a photo and a lovely article. The full article is not available online, but click here for the brief version.

Many thanks to all those conductors and program administrators who have written letters, welcomed visitors and media to their programs, and worked extra long hours to make this first-ever Awareness Day as successful as possible. I really look forward to seeing how we can use the success of this day to serve more and more individuals with motor disorders and their families.
