First Day of School!

And I am tired! Conductive programming started up again for me today. I have a small group of the little ones (ages 2-3), and an after school group. Five of my children are new to CE. This semester will be tons of fun, I can feel it already. I only hope my back will survive.

  1. Enjoy your return to work, Kasey.

As for backs - it would help if we all stopped shifting those plinths around! I have stopped using them for the 6-7 year olds that I have at the moment, before school starts next week. We are having just as much fun on the floor, on benches and playing trains with chairs as freight wagons.

  2. Dear Kasey,
You are bound to feel tired and slightly disorientated after a break. This is totally normal. Once you see the children who are there in front of you and in desperate need of your help you will find your focus.
Also remember and be grateful for the fact that the parents chose you and trust you when handing you their most precious gifts… their children.
Take your time when designing the programmes… to get them right you need time. After a break they will need a little time to get exactly what you are asking them to do. See it as a rehearsal just for now. The master peace will manifest be sure about that.
    Love, Judit

  3. Dear Susie, I don't use plinths with the big kids, thankfully. Just for the little ones.

Thank you both, Judit and Susie. It is so great to have seasoned conductors giving advice. Even if it is through the net. I am grateful.
