The Keymakers

Keymakers
author unknown

Some people see a closed door,
and turn away.

Others see a closed door,
try the knob
if it doesn't open...
they turn away.

Still others see a closed door,
try the knob,
if it doesn't open,
they find a key,
if the key doesn't fit...
they turn away.

A rare few see a closed door,
try the knob,
if it doesn't open,
they find a key,
if the key doesn't fit...
They make one.

  1. This posting reminded me of Adison who never gave in to any unsuccessful attempts when looking for the keys or ways to open doors. When he failed 999 times he acknowledged it, as this was the 999th time, that wasn’t the way to find the answer he was searching for, but he discovered many, many other things throughout the processes.
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

“When I have fully decided that a result is worth getting I go ahead of it and make trial after trial until it comes.” Thomas A. Edison
